Happy 4th of July from photo-eye

Sheriff's Cabin, 2011 -- Kyle Ford

In celebration of the 4th of July, we though we'd take some time out to share some depictions of the United States in photobooks. The images included are from American Prospects by Joel Sternfeld, Walker Evans' American Photographs, Time and Space on the Lower East Side by Brian Rose and Ed Fausty, Martin Parr's Up and Down Peachtree and America 101 by Arthur Grace (all of which are also in stock). More photographs from these wonderful books can be seen by clicking the booktease link under the image.
