"TUNA – Tsukiji Market, Tokyo (1996) tracks a day in the life of the single largest covered market in the world. Tsukiji market in Tokyo is the home of the world famous Tuna auction where much of the world’s blue fin Tuna is sold. The book is a silver-gilded, ram-punched, hand-made, embossed tin covered limited edition gem. Designed by Greg Quinton and printed by Phil Lemond at Gavin Martin."—the publisher

The clever design of this delightful limited edition is a knock-out. Replicating a tin of fish, the silver-edged board book with stamped tin cover could easily be mistaken for the real thing. Made in a limited edition of 100, photo-eye's copies are among the last available anywhere.

By Peng Yangjun & Chen Jiaojiao
Shang-Xia Ltd

"A Box collects memories and secrets from ordinary Chinese families, including a book of selected album photos, private letters, stories, and a secret draw which includes several objects, one aluminum toy plane, one red scarf for Chinese young pioneer’s league, one classic tin ring, four crystal beads, one vintage train ticket, one vintage cinema ticket, etc."—the publisher

Selected as one of the Best Books of 2011 by Martin Parr

Read Sarah Bradley's review in photo-eye Magazine

Box - Pass it On is an exceptional object and moving document featuring photographs and stories of the lives of Chinese citizens living during the Cultural Revolution and the Great Leap Forward. Exquisitely assembled and thoughtful in every element, this limited edition box reproduces photographs and other keep-sake ephemera leafed into the pages of the book and presented in a secret compartment at the bottom of the box. Text in the main book is in Chinese and contains two small booklets with English and French translations.

This book took us years to export from China and was entirely worth the wait and effort. Featured in Martin Parr's The Chinese Photobook, photo-eye is (as far as we know) the only store in the USA to have this book in stock.

LDN 3
Photographs by Antony Cairns.
AMC Books

"LDN3, the third of Antony Cairns’ LDN books, expands upon his vision of a nocturnal concrete London lit by glaring lights from windows of unseen rooms in looming buildings. A sense of movement pervades, a sense of the reader as passer-by in a strange landscape, drawn away through the dark labyrinth of night without discovering the secrets concealed in those rooms, on to the next bleary edifice and on again, only to realise at last that what we see is home."—the publisher

This beautifully glossy limited edition features images printed as black & white transparencies with a delicate white sheet of paper placed in between pages. Presented in a plastic sleeve with a frosted plexi backboard and metal screw-post binding, this limited edition of 100 signed and numbered copies manages attain a slickness that complements the near metallic sheen of the images while also feeling meticulously hand-crafted.

Cairns' latest book in his LDN series, LDN EI, was selected for the shortlist for the 2015 Paris Photo–Aperture Foundation PhotoBook Awards.
