The Singled Person is a modest exhibition catalogue representing eight photographers who are taking eight individual approaches to photographing impressionistic living spaces. The common thread among these photographers is their subtle and personal presentation of reality connecting the photographic document in all eight works. The exhibition has shown at the Hamburg Photo Triennial and the New York Photo Festival in 2008, as well as Journées photographiques de Bienne and the Berliner Kunstsalon in 2009 and consists of eight unsynchronized slide projections designed to adjust to each of the exhibition spaces. There will be another exhibition of this work in Vienna this November.
Photographer Peer Kugler was kind enough to allow us to show the 2010 version of the slide presentation, which will continue on its exhibition course. We hope you enjoy this presentation of a bizarre and surreal view from eight talented photographers.
