| Black Angeles 59 -- Dick Sanders |
Congratulations to Dick Sanders whose Black Angeles 59 was selected for exhibition at this year's Art of Photography Show in at the San Diego Art Institute. The opening reception is on Saturday, September 29th at 6pm. Sanders' photograph was one of 200 selected from 16,905 entires for the exhibit. Sanders will be speaking about his work at the San Diego Art Institute on October 18th at 7pm. The event is free and open to the public. Two of Sanders' other portrait series, Faces on the Street and The Portraits at Sam's Market, can be seen on the Photographer's Showcase.

Photographs by Lydia Panas can be seen in a group exhibition entitled More Photos about Buildings and Food at Gallery 339 in Philadelphia. The exhibit runs until December 22 with an opening reception on September 21 from 6-8pm. Panas' portfolio on the Photographer's Showcase, The Mark of Abel, was also published as a book by Kehrer Verlag in early 2012.

Jeff Rich Watershed series work can soon be seen in two exhibitions, one in Asheville, North Carolina, the other in Bloomington Indiana. Opening at Pink Dog Creative in Asheville on September 21st, Rich's work on the watershed of the French Broad River will be exhibited within the watershed itself. An opening reception will be held on September 21st from 5-8pm. Currently open, Rich's work can also be seen at the Pictura Gallery in Bloomington running through October 27th. Watershed was the winner of the Photolucida Critical Mass Book Award in 2010. His book was published in 2012.
