Book of the Week: A Pick by Gerry Badger

Book of the Week Book of the Week: A Pick by Gerry Badger Photographic critic and photographer Gerry Badger selects Walking by Thomas Struth as photo-eye Book of the Week.

Walking. By Thomas StruthIvorypress, 2014.

This week's Book of the Week pick comes from photographic critic and photographer Gerry Badger, who has selected Walking by Thomas Struth, published by Ivorypress.

"Known for his large-scale, large-ambition history photo-paintings, in this small artist’s book it is refreshing to see Struth return to photo basics — just walking around various cities with a camera taking note of details, walls, doorways, and so on. Of course, he might print them eight feet high, but this beautiful little artist’s book seems the ideal place for this modest, yet satisfying body of work."—Gerry Badger
