"I have a weekly book review column, so I can honestly say I look at more photobooks than most people. It's sometimes interesting to see what stays with me, when I think back among countless choices. The Line sticks in my mind because it marries the zany, conceptual art aesthetic of Christo and Jeanne-Claude with a heavy-hearted environmental realism. The combustible toxicity and beauty of the two traditions make a memorable mix."—Jonathan Blaustein
