This week's Book of the Week pick comes from photographer and publisher Matej Sitar who has selected Anyone in Love With You (Already Knows) by Chad Moore from dienacht Publishing.

"Chad Moore's book is like a bite into Proust’s Madeleine. A page, then the next one and I suddenly remembered. Remembered is not exactly the right word, I felt it. The lightheartedness of being young. A special feeling, the irony of it that one comes to appreciate it later, usually when it is over. You are left wondering how you could not have grabbed it and kept it for longer. But this is also the beauty of it.

The portraits are straightforward, no fancy poses, no theatricality or pathos, but with a lot of empathy. Like Mike Brodie, Chad knows his subjects and spends time with them, is friend with them. This is obvious in his photos.

A black eye, sweat of naked bodies, the alcohol, joy, friendship, sorrow… I felt them all. Heck, I was there and could smell it, taste it, feel it. Closing the book I remembered my teenage years and thought 'Ahhh, those were great times!' To achieve something like this is not an easy task. Thumbs up to Chad and dienacht Publishing for creating a really great book."
