|White Sands National Monument, New Mexico -- Ryann Ford|
Photographer's Showcase artist Ryann Ford and her Rest Stop images have been featured in a number of places recently, including a piece on the Fast Company blog and interviews on The Atlantic and on Word of Mouth from New Hampshire Public Radio, which can be listened to here. Ford's Rest Stop series documents a dying tradition of the American highway -- picnic tables and their at times festive coverings that used to dot the roadsides. Mitch Dobrowner's Storms series was recently featured on Wired.com in an article by Jackob Schiller. You can read the article here. Dobrowner's work is currently on view at photo-eye Gallery in Santa Fe, but the show will be closing soon on September 20th.
