Daylight Magazine's latest multimedia publication is a fantastic presentation based on Jon Edwards work on the life of John Ryan. You can see it
here. The video weaves Edwards' images of Ryan in with interviews and ambient recordings of Ryan at work. Hearing Ryan's voice adds an extra personal layer to these already vital images. Edwards' portfolio of Ryan, A Life, can be seen on the photographer's Showcase
here.
Edwards' work can also be seen at the Portland Museum of Art in Portland, ME in the 2011 Biennial. The Show runs through June 5th with a gallery talk on Saturday April 9th at 1 pm.

Photographer's Showcase artist Christine Laptuta has several prints featured in the Cleveland Museum of Art's Landscapes Collection, on view now through August 4th. Laptuta's work on the Photographer's Showcase are enchanting panoramas of the desert landscape -- lush with life in the form of cactus and desert trees. You can see her work
