White Sands National Monument, New Mexico -- Ryann Ford

Photographer's Showcase artist Ryann Ford and her Rest Stop images have been featured in a number of places recently, including a piece on the Fast Company blog and interviews on The Atlantic and on Word of Mouth from New Hampshire Public Radio, which can be listened to here. Ford's Rest Stop series documents a dying tradition of the American highway -- picnic tables and their at times festive coverings that used to dot the roadsides. Read the photo-eye Blog interview with Ryann Ford here.
